People who say “political correctness will ruin comedy” are mad because they lack the creative ability to make a joke without perpetuating tired stereotypes and making others feel lesser and they are people who need to retire from comedy and let actual talented people take over.
I’m in fucking danger guys. He wants to take out the amendment that makes immigrants’ children a U.S. citizen and deport those families where the parents are illegal. Please stop supporting him as a joke. Please stop thinking that his racism and sexism is funny. Take this upcoming presidential election serious because now many families are in danger. Please I’m not kidding, I’m scared now of this excuse of a human.
He literally has zero chance of being elected.
He only is leading in the polls because there’s more than a dozen other republican candidates that are splitting the conservative base vote currently. Moreover, he’d never have enough support to win a national election.
I’m not saying any of this to undermine the OP’s comments, only to try and alleviate any fear people might have and assure you that you and your families are fine. At least from him anyways, the Republicans as a whole might still try that, but passing a bill like that would be nearly impossible. Republicans usually only use threats of deportation in order to rally their racist base, not because they actual plan to do anything about it.
